Stalked: Guilliver's Travels, Antonio Banderas, Mother and Child

Jack Black is on Gulliver's Travels.

Antonio Banderas could be Salvador Dali.

And Annette Bening and Naomi Watts are on Mother and Child.

Jack Black is going to star in a new film version of Gulliver's Travels. Fox are calling it a re-imagining of the tale. This one will have Black playing a travel writer called Lemuel Gulliver. While working in Bermuda, he becomes standed on the island of Liliput. He finds himself a giant in amougst the islands tiny inhabitants. The news is from The Hollywood Reporter.

Antonio Banderas is close to agreeing to play Salvador Dali. Simon West is directing the film, which will tell the story of his life. Coming Soon, say the film Dali will use CGI in an effort to properly capture the world of the surrealist artist.

Mother and Child has two cast members, Annette Bening and Naomi Watts. The drama tells interweaving storylines. One about a white woman who gave her child up for adoption some 30 years ago, and one about a black woman who is looking to adopt. The film isn't short of producers, with Alfonso Cuaron, Guillermo del Toro and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu all helping out. With those guys producing and Bening and Watts on board this could be very good. The news is from Coming Soon.
