Quantum of Solace director Marc Forster is to direct a film version of World War Z. The Max Brooks novel is about a worldwide infestation of flesh-eating zombies. 10 years on from the incident, a UN worker interviews survivors from all over the world about what happened. J. Francis Lawrence will direct a film about the 1987 Atlanta Prison riots. Mark Bowden, who wrote the Black Hawk Down book on which the film was based is also involved. He came across the story while working on Black Hawk Down. The riots began after Cuban and American prisoners rioted and took control of the prison.
