There's a new trailer for The Day the Earth Stood Still remake online, and while it's billed as the International trailer, there's actually a lot more to it that's different than the previous ones we've seen.

A bit more focus on the story line, and an interesting twist to the story presented in the first trailers. In fact a complete turnaround almost.

You see in this trailer we see Keanu Reeves character as helpless as the humans around him when up against the strange powers and mist that are destroying the cities, and even to Gort himself.

This trailer really does mix things up a bit and I'm wondering how far from the original The Day The Earth Stood Still story this version has gone, from the looks of the trailer found through Coming Soon, more than we first thought.
