I have to admit I've been rather sceptical about The Wrestler, although on paper it has an interesting set of ingredients, Darren Aronofsky, Mickey Rourke, Evan Rachel Wood and Marisa Tomei, but the idea of a has been wrestler making one last attempt at a comeback wasn't really grabbing me.

This trailer has though. It's done something totally different, and through the music and glimpses of Rourke's emotional performance, it actually got to me.

These days of course I'm feeling emotional at the drop of a hat, but there's something special about this trailer that makes it stand out from the rest, and surprisingly that's Mickey Rourke himself.

I think I may just be hooked. Then there's Evan Rachel Wood, and the delectable Marisa Tomei who also has bags of talent to add to the captivating looks, and I'm wondering if this could be a big hit for all concerned.
