Powder Blue trailer online

JessicaBiel.jpgThe trailer for the big name starrer Powder Blue has arrived online and it looks fantastic. Yes it has Jessica Biel playing a stripper and the trailer really does concentrate on that, but it carries a visual power that really does grab hold of you.

Starring Ray Liotta, Forest Whitaker, Patrick Swayze, Kris Kristofferson, Lisa Kudrow, and many more, it promises some strong performances and powerful moments. Have a look for yourself.

The story of Powder Blue follows four members of Los Angeles – a mortician, an ex-con, a suicidal ex-priest and a stripper as they are brought together by circumstance and fate on Christmas Eve.

I do love the trailer, and I really enjoy this type of ensemble film where disconnected stories are brought together, plus this one seems to be able to pack a punch without saying much.

There are plenty of scenes throughout the trailer which do grab your attention and suggest a hell of a lot in the story – I really do like the way it's hinting at a hell of a lot and not given way an inch. Perhaps you might make visual connections when you're watching the film and a single moment might spark a realisation of what is about to happen, but I really don't think that these short snapshots are going to spoil anything for you.

Take a look at the trailer and mark down Powder Blue as one to watch. Writer/director Timothy Linh Bui looks like he's produced something special.
