Rourke says no Sin City 2

SinCity-Marv.jpgIt's all a bit confusing for Mickey Rourke at the moment as well as for the audience who are awaiting Sin City 2, as we might be hearing from Frank Miller and Rosario Dawson that the film is a go, but from Mickey Rourke we're hearing something a little different.

Well we are now anyway. He's been quoted as saying he was ready to star again in the film if he was wanted, and so we assumed that when Miller started talking about the film he would be on. Perhaps not.

Speaking at the press junket for The Wrestler, Mickey Rourke is sounding a little less than positive about it.

"No, I'm not interested in that right now. That's not a reality right now. It's pissing in the wind...There's different factions going different directions there. I don't know. That's three hours of make up and I'm claustrophobic, so I'm going to have to work something out."

Now that comment through Coming Soon does sound rather negative, more so because there's a lot of talk about the sequel and not much happening, let's be fair there's been a lot of talk of the sequel for quite some time.

It doesn't sound like a down and out no though, there does sound room for negotiation, but he's not sounding as thought he wants to be in the film any time soon. If the film does start in April then there's a chance he could change his mind come time, or that someone will offer him an extra incentive, but Sin City 2 wouldn't be lost without him would it?
