Stalked: Tron 2.0, Carla Gugino, Frank Lloyd Wright, Reese Witherspoon

Tron 2.0 has two cast members.

Carla Gugino is starring in Elektra Luxx.

Frank Lloyd Wright is getting the film treatment.

And Reese Witherspoon is working with James L Brooks.

Tron 2.0 has it's first two cast members. Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett will star in the sequel. They will both play people in the virtual world, but there is no news on the lead male actor yet. Joseph Kosinski is directing the new chapter in the Tron story. You can still see the trailer here on Filmstalker. The news is from The Hollywood Reporter.

Carla Gugino is to star in a sequel to Women in Trouble. The film is called Elektra Luxx, and will star some other cast members from the original. Emmanuelle Chriqui, Adrianne Palicki, Marley Shelton, Connie Britton, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Simon Baker were all in the original. It would appear the film hasn't found a distributor yet. Tim Olyphant, Alicia Silverstone and Justin Kirk are signed on for the sequel. The first film tells the story of a day in the life of 10 Los Angeles women. The sequel catches up with them a month later. Sounds like an interesting premise, wonder why we haven't seen it. The news is from Variety.

A historical novel is proving the inspiration for a film about architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The novel is called Loving Frank, and concentrates on Wright's affair with Mamah Borthwick Cheney. The news is from Variety.

Variety also say Reese Witherspoon is teaming up with James L Brooks, and will star in a comedy directing by him. Brooks is also writing the film, which will be an ensemble comedy. Witherspoon was to star in a film by Cameron Crowe, but it won't start until the Summer, meaning she has some free time.
