Stallone's script for The Expendables has been read and is reviewed online, although it's fair to say that this is an early draft when the final huge battle scene is summed up in a couple of lines.

The anticipation of seeing Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Forest Whitaker, Jason Statham, Randy Couture and possibly Sandra Bullock all on screen together is looking like it might be met by the script itself.

There are some weak points in the review, but what becomes clear is that this isn't a complete parody nor is it a complete reality based story, it's somewhere in between and it looks like it's not going to be afraid to poke a little fun at itself either.

The best bit though? Dolph Lundgren fighting Jet Li. Sold.

I'm really looking forward to The Expendables, and I've already said much more than Inglorious Basterds which I can't help but compare it to.
