The Good, The Bad, and The Weird International trailer online
Oh look at this, another International trailer online today, and this one's for The Good, The Bad, and The Weird aka Joheunnom nabbeunnom isanghannom, and like the Outlander trailer, this one isn't as good as the previous. Still, it gives us a little more about the story, even if it is rather fragmented.
The story, by the way, sees three outlaws trying to get their hands on a map to some secret treasure, and they not only have to fight each other for it but also bandits and the Japanese Army.
Ji-woon Kim is the co-writer and director of the film, a talent you might know if you've seen A Bittersweet Life, A Tale of Two Sisters, or Three Extremes II.
The Good, The Bad, and The Weird stars Woo-sung Jung as The Good, Byung-hun Lee as The Bad, and Kang-ho Song as The Weird. All three actors who you'll recognise from various other films such as A Bittersweet Life, Three Extremes and J.S.A.: Joint Security Area, while Kang-ho you may remember from The Host (Filmstalker review), Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (Filmstalker review), Memories of a Murder and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance.
It seems a great idea, a Korean western taking influence from both westerns and Asian cinema, and with such a powerful cast and strong talent behind the film there's some high hopes.
Have a look at the trailer for The Good The Bad and The Weird below and perhaps even take a glance back at the previous one to see what you think.
