No doubting that Timur Bekmambetov has his own visual style. And now he could be applying it to The Days Before, and I love the plot already.

Time travelling killer aliens, a world in peril and one man out to save it. This sounds like great stuff!

Timur Bekmambetov is apparently in negotiations to direct The Days Before. The premise has aliens invading Earth, with a plan to wipe out humans. Their grand plan involves time travelling back through time, one day after another, wiping us humans out. One man tries to stay just ahead of them, and has to convince everyone of the impending danger after every jump.

Sounds like a pretty damn good idea. And throw in a totally speculated cast of Robert Downey Jr and Reese Witherspoon, and it gets even better. Production Weekly, through First Showing.net, say they are also in talks to join the film.

Wow. Given the style Bekmambetov brought to NightWatch and DayWatch, this could turn into something special. They had a great combination of both plot and effects. Anyone else interested in time travelling killer aliens?
