Emily Blunt seems to have the role that a few actresses want. She may now have someone else trying to take over as Black Widow in Iron Man 2. Wonder if she feels like telling everyone to back off.

Just yesterday it was Eliza Dushku touting herself for it, and now it's Scarlett Johansson who could be taking over.

Emily Blunt was said to be close to, if not already down, to play Black Widow in Iron Man 2. Then along came Gulliver's Travels, which due to some contractual thing she may have to star in. With the schedules for both potentially overlapping, they are trying to work out a way for her to do both.

Other actresses have smelled the scent though, and yesterday Eliza Dushku was pretty shamelessly volunteering herself for the role. Now Entertainment Weekly, through Coming Soon say that Scarlett Johansson has met with the powers that be, about playing Black Widow. All this and Blunt isn't definitely off the film yet.
