Eliza Dushku is producing The Perfect Moment.

Cate Blanchett is officially Maid Marian.

And Warner Bros. is making the Suicide Squad.

Eliza Dushku is to produce a film based on the life of Robert Mapplethorpe, called The Perfect Moment. The photographer was famous in the 1970's, for his portraits of music stars and socialites. He died of an AIDS related illness in 1989. Dushku co-produces Dollhouse which she currently stars in, and has Ondi Timoner directing the film. The news is from Variety.

Cate Blanchett is now confirmed as playing Maid Marian in Ridley Scott's Robin Hood film. It was called Nottingham, but that's all changing. Sienna Miller was originally playing the role opposite Russell Crowe, but she left the project. Blanchett will now be filling her shoes. The news comes from Variety.

Warner Bros. is to make a film of the DC Comic, Suicide Squad. The comic book sees a group of imprisoned villains given a tough job by the government. Usually happier working alone, they have to start working together to pull it off. Variety say Dan Lin is producing.
