Stalked: Little Fockers, Martin Lawrence, Stephen Fry, Chiwetel Ejiofor
Little Fockers is still ploughing on.
Martin Lawrence sounds like he's stepping into Eddie Murphy's shoes.
Stephen Fry says he will be in Alice in Wonderland.
And Chiwetel Ejiofor is the next cast member to join SALT.
Little Fockers is moving along nicely. John Hamburg is writing the screenplay, but Jay Roach will only be producing and not directing this one. They are now hunting down another director to take the project on. Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro and Owen Wilson are all apparently in negotiations to come back for a third film. As you can tell from the title, the subject is likely to be the kids of Stiller and Teri Polo who plays his wife. The news is from Coming Soon.
Martin Lawrence could be starring in what sounds like a sequel to Coming to America. Lawrence would play a guy from Queens in New York, who finds out that he is heir to the throne of an African country. He then heads off there to claim his title. It's not being billed as a sequel, but is called Back to America, and the plot is basically the reverse of the Eddie Murphy film. The news is from Jo Blo.
Stephen Fry says he is joining the cast of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. He says that he will be playing the Chesire Cat. Sounds like very good casting to me! He told the news to the BBC, through /Film.
SALT is adding cast members thick and fast these days. Angelina Jolie is playing the CIA spy, suspected of being a Russian agent. Liev Schrieber is now playing her CIA colleague, and now Chiwetel Ejiofor has joined the cast. No word from Jo Blo as to what character he will be playing yet though.
