24 film to be in Europe

KieferSutherland.jpgA 24 film has been in the wings for quite a while now. And at the end of last year, Kiefer Sutherland said a film version would be a few years away. And he also said it wouldn't happen until after the TV show had finished.

Now he has a dropped a possibility of where the film might be set. 24 could finally be coming to Europe.

It was last October that Kiefer Sutherland said that he thought a 24 film would be made, once the TV show was over. And that making the film length prequel to the new series, had given the writers a taste of what they could do with a 24 film.

Sutherland says that they had wanted to film a whole series in Europe, but it makes more sense to make a one of film there. He talked to IMDB.

It’s something that we’ve always talked about because I think the fantastic thing about Europe, for something like 24 is that it’s very feasible to get from Prague to London in the course of a day. It’s just a question of when we’re actually going to make the movie.

Despite the odd time that I want to shake my head, I'm a big 24 fan. I reckon a 24 film in Europe is a great idea. At least a way of making it different to the TV series. Looks like we may be getting a Europe wide chase in the 24 film. Do you want to see a 24 film? Do you like the idea of Europe as a location?
