Stalked: Nick Nolte, Malin Akerman, Ryan Phillippe, Julia Roberts, Little Fockers
Nick Nolte is in Warrior.
Malin Akerman is in The Bang Bang Club.
Julia Roberts is producing Jesus Henry Christ.
And we should expect everyone back for Little Fockers.
Nick Nolte, Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Morrison are all to star in Warrior. In the film, directed by Gavin O'Connor, Nolte plays a Vietnam vet who was also a handy boxer. After seeing his family torn apart by his alcoholism, Nolte's character tries to make amends. He trains his younger son, played by Hardy, for a mixed martial arts contest. It sees him on course for a fight with his brother, played by Edgerton. Sounds like a grown up Karate Kid! The news is from Variety.
Malin Akerman is going from Silk Spectre, to apartheid era South Africa. She and Ryan Phillippe will star in The Bang Bang Club. Variety say Ackerman will play the photo editor of the so called club. With Phillippe and a few others also playing war photographers, who document the last days of apartheid in the country.
Julia Roberts is helping to produce Jesus Henry Christ. The film is based on a short story of the same name. A 10 year old boy, who is being raised by his mother, follows a series of Post It notes around his town, hoping they will lead to his biological Dad. Roberts isn't planning on starring in it so far. The news is from The Hollywood Reporter.
The script for Little Fockers is still being written. John Hamburg though, says that he expects everyone back for the third film. Everyone except the director of the first two Jay Roach that is. MTV Movies Blog say Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Owen Wilson, Dustin Hoffman, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand should all be appearing.
