Seth Rogen has been talking about The Green Hornet and revealed a little more about the plan for the story, saying that this is going to be unlike any superhero film we've seen to date. Okay, we'll take your word for it. Speaking to Moviehole through Coming Soon he revealed a little about how the story would play out.

“It will be an origin story but not in the traditional sense. It'll be unlike every other superhero film out there.

The film will concentrate a lot on the relationship between...The Green Hornet (who Rogen says is just "a normal guy" whereas Kato's the one that does all the superhero stuff) and Kato.”

Nothing hugely exciting, but it's an indication that the story is going to focus on the two lead characters and not overly on the superhero aspects and supervillains. Hopefully.

Sarah Michelle Gellar starred in a Korean horror film remake called Possession which is about to be released after a long wait. It was back in September of 2007 that we first saw the trailer, and another in December, and then that was it until it was delayed. Now news comes from HorrorMovies.ca that it's destined for a release, however it's a straight to DVD release on the 12th of May. Things aren't looking good for Gellar, please don't let her do another Hollywood remake of an Asian horror film.

Barry Sonnenfeld is set to direct a remake of the Korean film Kwasok scandle (Scandal Makers), the story of a pop star whose life is turned upside down when he finds out that he not only has a daughter, but also a grandson. Sonnenfeld through Variety said that he was drawn to the film through it's universal themes, its intelligence and heart and will remake it as Scandal Makers.

Silent Thunder will tell the story of Leonard "Len" W. Miller, the first black owner of an American car racing team. Variety tells us that the son of Miller, Leonard T. Miller, has written the script that describes his father's rise in the American racing circuit to the point where he founded the Black American Racers and Vanguard Racing.

Welcome to Hoxford (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com) is the latest graphic horror novel to be adapted for film, written by the co-author of 30 Days of Night, it tells the story of about a psychiatrist who must team with a deeply disturbed patient in order to escape werewolves who run an institution for the criminally insane. The story comes from Variety.

I think Possession has Lee Pace as one of the leads, if so i'll be watching it! I would rather Gellar do some more Buffy than any more horror remakes or films like Southland Tales. If she wants to prove herself as a film actress shes definately going down the wrong route. Isn't she going to be in Alice in Wonderland?
