Armored trailer online

Armored.jpgThe trailer for the interestingly cast and hugely exciting film Armored has appeared online, and it's looking superb with a great cast, a fantastic soundtrack, what looks like a rather limited location in which it develops, and plenty of action. Not to mention that superb opening which comes around later in the trailer.

I like this trailer a lot, and I think it's about time you get into the Nimród Antal directed film starring Matt Dillon, Jean Reno, Laurence Fishburne, Amaury Nolasco, Fred Ward, Skeet Ulrich, Milo Ventimiglia and Columbus Short.

Armored, that's Armoured to those of us using non US-English, is the latest film from the strong director Nimród Antal who previously brought us the excellent Vacancy (Filmstalker review) and Kontroll. The cast list looks excellent for the film too, and with Matt Dillon taking a dramatic lead I'm more than excited, and that's without looking to the excellent backup he has in names such as Jean Reno and Laurence Fishburne.

Originally we heard that the story was about a young man who is an armoured car guard joining a crew of more seasoned guards. He's persuaded by his older, longer serving colleagues to steal some US $10 million from his truck.

Well now watching this trailer there seems a little more to it, and when they have stolen it there seems to be a big reality check and a whole lot of regret from the new crew member played by Columbus Short, and he has some serious second thoughts that he begins to act upon.

It looks a strong thriller with a nice bit of action poured in, as well as a strong performance being promised from Dillon. Then there's the direction of Antal, which after the strength of the thriller and surprises he produced in Vacancy, I'm well on the road to buying a ticket.

Why don't you have a look at the trailer and judge for yourself. You can see it over at Apple Trailers [Embed:QT:P:S:M:L:480p:720p:1080p] in all sizes and high definition. I'm totally bought into this film.
