Fast and Furious 5 in Brazil?

FastandtheFurious.jpgWith Fast and Furious just out in cinemas, talk is turning to a potenial fifth film in the series.

Vin Diesel has already talked about a fifth film, and now Paul Walker has said that the next one could be heading for Brazil.

Vin Diesel recently spoke about a fifth film in the Fast and Furious series, he was originally hoping to film the most recent one and another back to back. And we also found out the next one might be set in Europe.

Paul Walker has now said that the fifth one will happen, but it may be happening in South America.

This was supposed to be it. There wasn’t supposed to be the open-ended closing like there was. When I first read the screenplay, I was like, ‘Man, look what they’re doing.’ But without question, with the way things opened up, Vin and I will be coming back, we’re making a fifth one, and we’re going to Brazil, that’s it.

He was talking on a radio show, through /Film. It also sounds like they were planning on the most recent one being the last, well with the usual cast anyway. The latest one seems to be going down well though. I'm a bit of a late comer to Fast and Furious, I'm just making my way through them now. Good fun though, and Brazil would make for a great setting.

Do you want the main cast back for a fifth one? Do you want it in Brazil, or should it come to Europe after all?

I think Europe would have more scope for this type of film.

I suppose they could always use the stretch of road that was in Quantum of Solace as one place. Maybe we could see the cars this time.

i would like to see this franchise be a little bit grittier.

The cars always seem cleaner than cleaner.

They are fun and once you have a user base its best not to mess with the formula.

It'd be great in Brazil. I hope it's NOT in Rio! There's much more to see than Rio.

I've definitely heard that the next one is going to be in Europe, whether that makes it through to the final idea or not we won't know for a wee while yet.

I did wonder why they were all so shiny. Perhaps too shiny. I caught the second one the other night, great fun. Tokyo Drift was not a favourite though.

why not fast and furious on the chicago skyline they have some heavy hitters out there
