New trailer for The Taking of Pelham 123 online

JohnTravolta-Pelham123.jpgThere's a new trailer for The Taking of Pelham 123 online and it looks superb, although I have no idea why they wanted to put that last scene in it because there's a little give away that is perhaps a little too much. It's no spoiler, but it gives you an idea of where the story might be going, not that you couldn't have guessed it already.

Oh I'm sure there's plenty more to come from the Tony Scott remake, there's bound to be a few heart stopping moments before the credits. Here's the full new trailer for you to feast upon.

What I'm more encouraged by is there aren't loads of camera effects shots through this and it looks like we're not going to have something over applied to the film process. Instead it looks like we might be concentrating on the thriller aspects.

That's not to say there aren't going to be the big action set pieces, that's proven in a couple of shots too, there just doesn't seem to be the Scott brothers over reliance on effects shots galore.

Here's the trailer for The Taking of Pelham 123 through Coming Soon which you can see in high definition over at MyMarketingSpace Trailer Park, I believe. I say that because I couldn't remember my sign on to see it!

You'll remember that The Taking of Pelham 123 is about the hostage taking and ransom demands of a group of criminals who have hijacked an underground train. Seemingly it's an idiotic decision as there's nowhere to run, but they seem very confident and have a plan. On the outside a train controller, played by Denzel Washington, is the primary contact with the lead hostage taker, played by John Travolta. Add in James Gandolfini and John Turturro and we've got a great line up.
