Closed: Win DVD's for Outlander's release

Outlander.jpgOutlander (Filmstalker review) is due for release on the 24th of April, you know the film I mean, the one that merges science fiction and swords, in a film that sounds something like Predator filled with Vikings, how can you not like the sound of that?

To celebrate the release I have three DVD's to give away, Dante 01 (Filmstalker review), Eden Log and Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (Filmstalker review), all good films and great DVD offerings.

Before we hit the competition, let's hear a little about the film. Here's the official synopsis for the film:

"709AD, a space craft streaks across the night's sky and crash lands in a Norwegian fjord. From its wreckage emerge, Kainan or Outlander (Jim Caviezel) a soldier from a far away planet and a deadly alien stowaway, the Moorwen. Before he has a chance to track down the Moorwen, Kainan is captured by viking warrior, Wulfric (Jack Huston) and held prisoner in the local village led by King Rothgar (John Hurt).

As the Moorwen wreaks terror and destruction on neighbouring villages, the threat of conflict between the clans escalates and Kainan is called upon to kill the creature. Aware of their prey's strength, Kainan and Wulfric fuse his advanced alien technology with the Viking's Iron Age weaponry. Joining forces with the bloodthirsty Gunnar (Ron Perlman), they lead one last mission to seek out and slay the Moorwen."

...and the official site as well as the Filmstalker review. Oh, and while we're at it here's the trailer and featurette.

Richard, what is the closing date, I'm guessing its not February?

Outlander looks pretty good, haven't heard of it before now.

Oops! Sorry! I put 3rd of May on the paragraph above and left the date from the previous competition below!
