Clips 'n' Pics: Toy Story 3, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, New Town Killers

NewTownKillers.jpgThere are two clips online which aren't in themselves very interesting, but are worthy of a little look.

The first is an extremely uninteresting clip from The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 which has me wondering what the marketing company or the studio were thinking in releasing this.

The second is a marketing clip for Toy Story 3 that might contain some footage from the film, or is that one of the previous? No matter it has the characters and voices playing off the logo of the third.

Finally a clip of New Town Killers, a film which I was really hacked off that I missed when it showed at the Glasgow Film Festival.

First up the poor clip for The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, which if you look at it has reinforced the idea from the trailer that they are all going to escape from the underground train. Something you'd already know from watching the trailers, but this really compounds it. I hope that wasn't a spoiler because they've done a terrible job of hiding it.

The second is the marketing clip for Toy Story 3 from Entertainment Tonight. It looks fun, but then where's the story? Well this is one of those clips that is just marketing the idea of the film and nothing much more.

The clip for New Town Killers sees Dougray Scott and Alastair Mackenzie offering James Anthony Pearson some hard cash for a very simple evening's work.

Out of all of them, I find that last clip the most interesting. New Town Killers tells the story of two high flying businessmen who like to find people who are seriously struggling with their lives and offer them hard cash to evade them for the night and stay alive.
