G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra French trailer online
Over the top, insane and stupid. The full trailer for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra has arrived online, and you know what? It's looking like it could be tons of fun.
While it's the French trailer don't worry those of you who can't stand subtitles, you'll get used to it and it might just broaden your horizons.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is directed by Stephen Sommers, you know The Mummy films that were good, action packed, and fun? So you can expect more of the same with G.I. Joe, just plenty more gadgets and way bigger explosions. Stuart Beattie is one of the writers on the script too, along with David Elliot and Paul Lovett, so that's also a lot of hope for the writing.
Then there's the cast, Dennis Quaid, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Saïd Taghmaoui, Christopher Eccleston, Jonathan Pryce and Arnold Vosloo are a few of the names I've cherry picked from the cast who suggest something more than straight, dumb, action.
Could this be another Mummy series? Well I'm not so sure. Looking at the trailer it looks like straight up action/adventure, which isn't a bad thing, I just hope there's some of the Mummy-ness applied here.
Enough of me talking about it, get your teeth into the trailer.
The trailer comes from Allocine through MoviesOnline.ca, but I've also pulled in the copy made on TrailerAddict which is slightly bigger, although not better quality as I suspect it's taken direct from Allocine.
