Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans has a trailer online, and it looks like a comedy more than anything. Actually to be fair it looks like a comedy that's trying really hard to be off the wall funny and failing miserably.

Werner Herzog's film, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, might star Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes, Val Kilmer, Jennifer Coolidge, Xzibit and Brad Dourif, but it isn't looking like a patch on the original Bad Lieutenant from Abel Ferrara.

Still it's here and that means we have to have a look just to see how it compares with the original, whether Herzog wants to fight about remake, sequel, or whatever word he's using to explain it.
