Mr. Nobody trailer online

MrNobody.jpgThere's a trailer online for a film I had no idea existed until tonight, and considering the title there's perhaps a little irony in there, for the film is called Mr. Nobody.

It stars Jared Leto as the titular character who is leading a normal life only to wake up as the oldest man alive, the last living mortal in a world of humans who no longer die, and he looks back on his life to try and understand if he made the right choices.

Sounds strange, but with Mr. Nobody Jaco van Dormael has written and directed a highly original story that looks fantastically engaging throughout the trailer which comes through Quiet Earth.

The trailer looks gorgeous, some of those shots are fantastic and evoke quite an amount of emotion. It's actually surprising how engaged and connected I felt to the trailer and how I wanted to see more of this as soon as it had stopped.

There's definitely a feeling of seeing the trailer for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind to this trailer, not that I'm comparing the films in anyway, just watching the trailer has that same confusing but alluring feel to it.

Disappointingly the only release dates known about so far are for Belgium and Finland in October and Norway in November. Not that it's disappointing for film fans in those countries, just that it's disappointing for the rest of us who don't get to see it. Yet.

The film not only stars Jared Leto, but also Diane Kruger, Sarah Polley and Rhys Ifans.
