The new trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has now arrived in high definition Quicktime, making that bootlegged version obsolete and bringing us the glory of the new trailer.

Often I think Michael Bay is better at making trailer footage than a complete film, fast cuts, one liners, close cropped shots and shaky moments hiding footage. However I wonder if this will be the case with the new Transformers. Here's the trailer for you to see for yourself.

The trailer does look great, although it's hard to work out what's going on Shia is very clear about one thing, Megatron is back and he wants what's in his head. Hopefully something useful.

I've done a couple of image captures from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer, nothing too fancy and nothing really worth screaming about, but here are four interesting shots. Click on the images for the full size ones.

The first is the transporting Transformer that I'd mentioned from seeing the trailer before. It just appears in the middle of the soldiers out of a little electrical storm.

Then there's the Transformer getting his arm shot off, which must be rather annoying in the heat of battle.

Optimus Prime is getting his arse seriously kicked here. Of course he'll survive, don't be daft.

However will this one survive? Can you make out who's being sucked into the mouth of the gigantic vacuum Transformer?
