Update: Burton's Alice in Wonderland leaked trailer still online

MadHatter.jpgThe trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland was promised to be held off until Thursday when it would be premièred on the Facebook fan page that got the most fans, however that might just have been complete nonsense and there never was going to be such a move.

However tonight it seems that the trailer has been leaked ahead of time, and if you're lucky you just might get to see it before the studio chase it down and remove it from all the video sharing sites.

Oh, and before they send me a letter, please note lawyers that I am not hosting the trailer, go after those people who are if you want it removed or stop your staff from leaking them in the first place.

This is the Alice in Wonderland story with Tim Burton's unique vision taken to the child friendly Disney studio, the two there seem somewhat of a contradiction, Burton's vision not being totally that of Disney's I'd say, but they are a little less child friendly these days as the trailer suggests.

The trailer for Alice in Wonderland looks utterly fantastic, shame the film's in 3D and there's plenty of stuff being thrown at the camera, but other than that it looks rich, vibrant, and centred around Johnny Depp playing the Mad Hatter, not Alice.

Horror-Movies.ca found the trailer over at YouTube and I've attached two versions (both now removed).

However, thanks to Ryan in the comments a copy has been found over at RUTube through Teaser Trailer:

What do you think? Really it doesn't do much for me at all.

Try this one

Tim Burton and Alice in Wonderland? Should make a pretty good mashup.

I didn't like Johnny Depp in Charley and the Chocolate Factory and I'm not sure how I feel about him being the Mad Hatter. His personality doesn't really fit the character.

I'll keep an open mind.

I watched the trailer last night...i normally try to be optimistic but i'm not too stoked about this.

Is this or is this not American McGee's alice? Because that video game seemed to be very close to what i'm seeing here in terms of style.

I remember seeing this as a kid, cant wait to bring my kids...
