Fantastic Mr Fox trailer online

FantasticMrFox.jpgThe trailer for highly cast adaptation of the Roald Dahl novel The Fantastic Mr. Fox has arrived online, and it looks like a laugh and a half indeed.

Little did I give credit to the huge cast list including George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Michael Gambon, Willem Dafoe, Helen McCrory, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Jason Scwartzman, Brian Cox, Adrien Brody (Oscar Winner – that one's for you Stuart), Wes Anderson, Anjelica Huston and Jarvis Cocker. Yes, the lead singer of Pulp.

Roald Dahl's The Fantastic Mr. Fox (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com) tells the story of a Fox who is being hunted by three local farmers, horrible farmers at that, who would rather he was dead than share any more of their produce with him. So he and his friends set out to outfox them all.

The trailer looks great fun, and not only is there that fantastic cast to thing about, but Wes Anderson co-wrote the screenplay with Noah Baumbach and directed the film, and so the chips are stacked hugely in favour of the film.

I love the style of the trailer which looks a little rough, real and by hand, I think that adds buckets of charm to an animated film from the outset.

Enough of me though, have a look at the trailer for The Fantastic Mr Fox. You can see it over at Yahoo Movies [Flash:480p:720p:1080p] in high definition through Coming Soon, or you can watch the version right here.

Looks... erm... Fantastic!
