Updated: St Trinian's (not The Legend of Fritton's Gold) trailer online
I can't tell you how cringeworthy and awful this looks, well actually it's not that bad, but it is very poor. St Trinian's: The Legend of Fritton's Gold is the follow up to St. Trinian's and looks painful to watch. Note that this is actually the trailer for St Trinian's, not the sequel, still, it's bad.
Can you believe that Rupert Everett, David Tennant, Colin Firth and Gemma Arterton are in this?
It saddens me that this is the British film industry output that we're shipping throughout the world to great media attention, however it's got the stars and the backing, plus it's obviously getting an audience, isn't it?
See if you think it does deserve an audience by watching the trailer below. The story seems pretty simple, with the school under threat from closure by the government, the pupils and staff get together to try and save it. The plan? Oh that's simple, they're going after some long lost treasure from a pirate or some such rubbish.
Wouldn't you just hold some sales, media campaigns and write off for grants galore? Here's the trailer for St Trinian's: The Legend of Fritton's so you can see what you think. St Trinian's - note that this isn't actually the trailer for the new film, it's the trailer for the previous St Trinian's, my mistake!
Tell me, are you going to watch this?
