Randall Wallace, the man who wrote Braveheart and We Were Soldiers, is set to rewrite Captain Nemo: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea for McG and Disney. The Hollywood Reporter reminds us that the story will tell the origin story of Nemo, a mysterious nobleman who is a scientific genius who is always seeking knowledge and revenge against imperialism. That revenge comes from the fact that Jules Verne's second book reveals the man as Indian Prince Dakkar who saw his family killed in a failed rebellion that he took part in. However there's no real knowledge of what the Disney film will portray.
