Darker Armored trailer online
There's a new trailer online for Armored, or Armoured if you're outside the U.S., that makes me think, will they change the spelling for the rest of the world using non-U.S. English?
The trailer is faster cut and a lot slicker, selling itself as a darker film from the rest and pulling in a scene that makes us think some of these guys are really playing for keeps, not like the previous trailers.
Armored (Armoured) comes from the keyboard of James V. Simpson and the cinematic eye of Vacancy (Filmstalker review) who directed the rather enjoyable and slightly off the norm Vacancy (Filmstalker review).
We've seen a couple of trailers before – select the Armored tag at the bottom of the article for all the Armored stories – but this latest one really does start making the film look a lot darker, and I quite like that. It also features more of Matt Dillon, which can't be a bad thing.
Add in there Jean Reno, Laurence Fishburne, Milo Ventimiglia, Amaury Nolasco, Fred Ward, Columbus Short and Skeet Ulrich and I think we're looking at a superb line-up.
Here's the latest trailer.
