Roman Polanski's Ghost teaser online

RomanPolanski.jpgThere's a very, very short teaser online for Roman Polanski's latest film The Ghost, the film starring Ewan McGregor as a writer who is assigned to write the memoirs of the former Prime Minister played by Pierce Brosnan.

While the teaser itself doesn't give away anything more than a few seconds of the two actors, it does already look rather sleek, thrilling, and perhaps a little combative between the two leads. The online site to accompany it brings us some great images of other stars in the film too.

The teaser is unremarkably short, but it does have a rather strong impact despite the length. Alongside the two leads are Kim Cattrall, Timothy Hutton, James Belushi, Olivia Williams, Tom Wilkinson and Eli Wallach.

It's a strong cast, and the story for The Ghost is too. Taken from the Robert Harris novel (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com) and adapted by the man himself, the story sees the ghost writer assigned to the former PM and uncovering some dark events from the past, events that pull him right into the middle of a conspiracy.

Sounds good, but then it comes from Roman Polanski and if you've seen any of his thrillers before then you'll be excited. Slap in Pierce Brosnan as the former Prime Minister and Ewan McGregor as the writer and you should be getting excited.

The teaser is over at the official site for the film through First Showing and is well worth watching, just don't be surprised at how short it really is.
