Asian pop star Jay Chou is to play the role of Kato in The Green Hornet. Stephen Chow was originally going to play the role, and direct the film. But ended up leaving the project altogether. Stephen Gondry is directing with Seth Rogen playing the lead role. The news is from The Hollywood Reporter.

The cast for Robert Rodriguez's Machete has been confirmed. After many a name was mentioned for a role, the cast looks like this. Danny Trejo as we know is playing the lead character. And now Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Steven Seagal, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson and Jeff Fahey have all been confirmed as having roles too.
