Clash of the Titans behind the scenes and interviews

ClashoftheTitans2.jpgFinally, someone has decided that the Clash of the Titans remake is actually a film that will be getting a release outside of the U.S. and that restricting the viewing of the footage to U.S. audience only is harming the marketing of the film – take note studio – and so the Clash of the Titan's behind the scenes and cast interview videos are now onlint and available to all to see.

They are rather short and not hugely interesting after all that, the behind the scenes is rather poor with just a few pre-CG stunts being played out. However there are some words from some of the cast members including Sam Worthington, Mads Mikkelsen, Liam Cunningham and Gemma Arterton.

The new Clash of the Titans retells the story we saw in the original 1981 Clash of the Titans starring Harry Hamlin in the lead and such names as Laurence Olivier, Maggie Smith, Ursula Andress and Burgess Meredith. It's a great adventure film that sees Perseus set some impossible tasks by the gods and being used as a pawn in their never ending game.

First up the behind the scenes footage:

Not much to write home about, or on the internet, and then there's the cast interviews with Sam Worthington, Mads Mikkelsen, Liam Cunningham, Gemma Arterton and Nicholas Hoult with some original film footage sewn in to remind you how bad the effects look nowadays.

You know, looking past the fact that Hollywood is remaking everything right now, I can see that there's some scope for a remake of Clash of the Titans and not just for updated CG. Here there's a lot more that could be updated and improved, particularly the scope and scale. I wonder if this one will deliver? It certainly has a stonking cast behind it.

I think it might deliver. I'm liking the dark look and I'm sure the scope will be rather big. I'm sure fans of the original will nip pick at it though.
