Filmstalker EIFF 2009 Roundup: Episode 1: Introduction
Welcome to the first real Filmstalker audiocast. It's taken a long time to get here, but the first audiocast is a big one, a roundup of the films from the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2009 with two special guests Stuart Wood from Cinema Blend and Jonathan Melville Itsonitsgone.
We talked for a mammoth amount of time and even after plenty of editing the audiocast was still overly long, so I've edited it down into shorter episodes, each concentrating on a film.
Remember, please bear with us, myself, Stuart and Jonathan were all rather nervous and we're not experts at this, just feeling our way. However if this goes well it certainly promises more. We're learning as we go.
There's no music as yet, it's just straight in and we're going for it. Come on, it's Filmstalker's first real foray into audiocasting. Hope you enjoy it. First up is a quick introduction, just before we get to the actual films.
This is the first episode of seventeen - yes we did talk for a long time - but don't worry, each is a nice size to listen to, and only one contains some explicit language, after all you can't talk about Antichrist (Filmstalker review) without a few swear words!
The first eleven episodes after the introduction are all about the best films, and then we hit the bad ones, and there are a few bad ones.
Next up it's Episode 2: Moon, first though, here's the introduction, and again thanks to my special guests from this series, Stuart Wood, from Cinemablend, and Jonathan Melville from itsonitsgone.
