Filmstalker EIFF 2009 Roundup: Episode 5: Mary and Max

Microphone.jpgThe fifth in the series of Filmstalker EIFF 2009 Roundup audiocasts sees myself, Stuart and Jonathan talking about Mary and Max, an animated film from Australia. Well actually it's Jonathan talking about the film and the two of us butting in now and again.

The film stars the voices of Toni Collette, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Eric Bana and Barry Humphries as the narrator, and tells the story of an eight year old Australian girl who contacts a random stranger in New York and the two become pen pals. Strangely, he's a severely obese forty-four year old man.

If you haven't been following this series of audiocasts, then you can catch up by starting with Episode 1: Introduction and take it from there.

After this episode we'll be talking about The Hurt Locker (Filmstalker review).

In the meantime, here's the fifth in the series with myself, Stuart Wood, from Cinemablend, and Jonathan Melville from itsonitsgone taking the lead to talk about Mary and Max.
