Up in the Air trailer online

GeorgeClooney.jpgThe trailer for Up in the Air starring George Clooney has arrived online, and it's something very different and very refreshing. It features the lead character giving a two minute motivational speech over the top of footage from the film.

The film comes from Jason Reitman adapted from the Walter Kirn novel about a corporate downsizing expert who loves his life of constant travelling. However that life is threatened just as he is close to reaching his ten million frequent flyer air miles and as he meets the woman of his dreams who is a similar travel junkie.

Up in the Air stars George Clooney in a seemingly fantastic role, I mean just watch and listen to the trailer and you'll get what I mean, it also stars Jason Bateman, Vera Farmiga, Anna Kendrick, Melanie Lynskey and Danny McBride.

Walter Kirn, who wrote the Up in the Air novel (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com), also wrote the Thumbsucker novel on which the film was based, so he's doing rather well with film adaptations.

The trailer has plenty of style and promise, and teases so much. Perhaps it tries to tease a little too much in fact because without reading the blurb it's hard to really know what the film is about, but then I've just done that for you, so here's the trailer....

Well it was until it was removed, so here's another!
