Clips 'n' Pics: Splice creature, Butler's Law Abiding Citizen

GerardButler.jpgA couple of clips have appeared online this morning that might grab your attention, they certainly did mine.

Firstly, we've seen the creature from Splice already in some stills, but now we can see it in a clip of the film that's appeared online.

Secondly, there's a clip for the Gerard Butler starring film, Law Abiding Citizen, and it's rather violent and rather bloody.

First up I'll give you the clip for Splice. The film tells the story of two scientists that create a new creature by splicing human and animal DNA. However they create a creature that grows fast, is very intelligent, and connects to both the male and female scientists. Before long it sees as though they are being manipulated and the creature is in control.

It's an interesting first look at the creature other than in stills, and it does feel a little early green screen where the actors are reacting to nothing but things falling over. Still, it bodes really well, if Adrien Brody weren't in it.

Next up a very red band clip from F. Gary Gray's Law Abiding Citizen with Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler. The film tells the story of a man whose family is murdered and the insane legal system lets them go on a plea bargain. So he sets out to track down the killers and bring them to his own justice, except he's not finished there. He's going to go after everyone who let the killers go free too.

The clip here shows a very bloody killing in a prison, and it looks to be just the way you would imagine it, so I warn you strongly, this is bloody, and rather violent, in other words, very real.

Wow, now that looks like it's no holds barred.

Gerard Butler is the new hollywood stud!!
