Fuqua's Brooklyn's Finest early trailer online

AntoineFuqua.jpgAntoine Fuqua's latest film, Brooklyn's Finest, has a trailer online. However beware, despite the intensity running through it, the star studded cast, and some excellent looking scenes, this is an early release trailer and the film is still in post production. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if this was leaked and it was removed quick smart.

The film isn't due to hit until next year, but the director who brought us the excellent Training Day and Tears of the Sun, is already showing us that his latest could be his best to date.

Brooklyn's Finest stars Richard Gere, Don Cheadle, Ethan Hawke, Wesley Snipes (welcome back), Ellen Barkin, Will Patton, tells the story of how three, unconnected Brooklyn cops, all on different paths in their lives and careers, end up in the same place at the same time with deadly consequences.

I have to say that the trailer doesn't tell the story too well, although it does show us some of the individual stories that the characters are facing, but the intensity and power of some of the performances is the attractive thing here, as well as the cast list and Antione Fuqua himself.

You might notice yourself though, Gere's character is hugely reminiscent of the one he played in Internal Affairs, but the resemblance is merely on the surface I would suggest.

Here's the trailer, see it while you can, and marvel at the great cast.
