Blood Creek (Town Creek) trailer online

DominicPurcell.jpgThere's a trailer online for Joel Schumacher's Nazi horror film Blood Creek, although the news is that it's not going to be a big release and it's destined for DVD in January, and from the trailer you can probably see why.

The film looks pretty poor from the trailer, and apart from loads of shots of the monster running around and screaming and blood, I'm not really sure what this is trying to offer the audience. I guess there is a weak attempt at a plot around Nazi's and the search for immortality, but it looks like a straight horror, creature film.

The plot offers us something more than the trailer might.

Evan Marshall's life has stalled at 25 years old. Left without answers after his older brother Victor's disappearance from a camping trip near Town Creek, Maryland, he has tried to move on. But when Victor returns one night, very much alive and having escaped his captors, Evan asks no questions. At his brother's request, he loads their rifles, packs up their boat and follows him back to Town Creek on a mission of revenge that will test them in every possible way.

That comes from the excellent Quiet Earth, as does the trailer, which you can see for yourself. It does star Dominic Purcell, Henry Cavill, Michael Fassbender and Emma Booth, but Joel Schumacher hasn't handled the trailer too well, and perhaps not the film either.
