New Armored trailer online
The new Armored (Armoured) trailer has arrived and rather than go back to the joke opening that the first two have had, this one goes straight into the action and concentrates on the tension and building of the story, what it also does is concentrate on Matt Dillon who looks to be on top form in his role as the morally ambiguous lead security officer.
The story is simple. A group of veteran security officers who drive armoured trucks all day are struggling for retirement money and decide to risk everything to steal the biggest shipment they've carried to date. Except there's a problem, a new guy has just joined their crew.
They take him into the group and the plan goes ahead, and as you can see by the trailer it doesn't go all smoothly, and while the group are steadfastly going towards their goal, the new guy has some seriously twisted loyalties.
I love the line that Matt Dillon dishes out in the trailer “funny thing about it is there's no bad guys, only good guys” and then cut to him walking towards the camera looking like he's going to do someone some real harm.
I'm not going to go over this again, but...actually...I will! Armored is directed by Nimród Antal, Vacancy (Filmstalker review) and the upcoming Predators, and the cast consist of Matt Dillon, Jean Reno, Laurence Fishburne., Amaury Nolasco, Fred Ward, Milo Ventimiglia, Skeet Ulrich and Columbus Short. How's that for a line up?
This trailer looks really good and I'm desperate to see the film, and this trailer looks the best of the lot so far.
