Shrek 4 trailer online
There's a trailer online for Shrek Forever After, and according to the trailer also known as Shrek 3D and Shrek The Final Chapter, and...oh who knows what else.
The trailer though is quite the disappointment, it uses the alternate reality plot where Shrek is taken into another universe where everything has turned out differently to the happy ever after we've seen him in. Oh, and it's in the 3D that I despise, the 3D where everything is flying at and around the camera and the scenes are engineered for just that.
Well Shrek Forever After is here with all the characters back once more, and so far it's feeling like a contractual obligation and a gimmick ride. Was Shrek perhaps done to perfection a film or two ago?
Here's the plot for the new film:
After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws' kingdom, whats an ogre to do? Well, if you're Shrek, you suddenly wind up a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, a reluctant Shrek now agrees to autograph pitch forks. Whats happened to this ogre's roar? Longing for the days when he felt like a "real ogre," Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it's up to Shrek to undo all he's done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.
Well give it some credit, that blurb sounds a lot better than this trailer looks. Shrek, Donkey and Fiona have never met, although Fiona is still an ogre – how did that happen then? - and Puss in Boots is a fat cat from too many milk bonuses.

At least this is the last one.
