Chloe red band trailer online

AmandaSeyfried.jpgChloe caught me by surprise to be quite honest, I'd written about the film in development but it just hadn't struck me the power of the cast and the story, until I saw this trailer, and while the rest of the Interflab talk excitedly about a far away, covered up, side shot of breasts, I'm more excited about the tension and power in the trailer, and this final look from Amanda Seyfried.

The film stars Amanda Seyfried as Chloe, an escort hired by a wife, played by Julianne Moore, who believes that her husband, played by Liam Neeson, is cheating on her and wants to prove it. However things don't quite go to plan.

Chloe begins to report back increasingly graphic encounters with her husband, and the meetings increase, come closer to home, and soon Chloe is getting involved not just with her husband.

The trailer looks superb and conveys huge amounts of tension and emotion through this very short window. There's no surprise really considering the excellent cast involved and the fact that it was directed by Atom Egoyan.

Here's the blurb for Chloe:

Catherine and David, she a doctor, he a professor, are at first glance the perfect couple. Happily married with a talented teenage son, they appear to have an idyllic life. But when David misses a flight and his surprise birthday party, Catherine's long simmering suspicions rise to the surface. Suspecting infidelity, she decides to hire an escort to seduce her husband and test his loyalty. Catherine finds herself 'directing' Chloe's encounters with David, and Chloe's end of the bargain is to report back, the descriptions becoming increasingly graphic as the meetings multiply.

Now, here's the trailer, which is a great watch in itself. Nothing too red band about it to be quite honest, I've seen more harmful things pop-up on a Google image search at work!

This does look a powerful and very character based thriller, something I personally love to watch. I'm in.
