Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps teaser trailer arrives

WallSteet2.jpgThe teaser trailer for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps has arrived, the sequel to Wall Street, and shows us the main players with the camera mostly focused on the lead character, Gordon Gekko, played by Michael Douglas.

The teaser looks pretty slick and sets up a nice feel, particularly with Gekko coming out of prison and reclaiming his belongings, I like that touch, and the mobile phone? Priceless.

Oliver Stone's sequel is going to show Gordon Gekko, played by Michael Douglas, getting out of prison after a long stint for his previous crimes and looking to try and recover his lost relationship with his daughter, played by Carey Mulligan, after all this time.

To do this he gets close to her fiancée Jacob, played by Shia LaBeouf, and the two form a bond with Jacob beginning to view him as a father figure. That doesn't last long though as he discovers that Gekko still has other motivations and hasn't lost his touch at manipulating people.

You can see the teaser trailer for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps over at IMDB Videos through Collider, and I'll get an embedded version as soon as I can. Done.

It's interesting that the blurb and trailer suggest a different direction than we originally thought. Has Gekko changed at all?

What do you think of the teaser?
