New Ong Bak 3 trailer

OngBak_Poster.jpgI think a lot of people are surprised that an Ong-Bak 3 was announced, especially since during Ong-Bak 2 the star and director, Tony Jaa, went missing and then the shouting began.

Still the film made it to release and there was talk of Ong-Bak 3, and here it is. Gone are the big set sequences, and is seems it's more one on one with Jaa. Well except for the elephants.

When Tony Jaa, the man behind the Ong-Bak films, went missing in the middle of production for Ong-Bak 2, there was a lot of talk about who was to blame, about the escalating costs, a messed up production, and a director lost in his own film.

Then Jaa returned and the sequel was finished, and to be honest that was a surprise in itself, but then for a third film to be discussed it seemed crazy, but it was.

Now we're seeing a third film not only in production but a decent trailer being touted. Tony Jaa is back, although it's not clear if he's allowed back in the director's chair, or anywhere else but in charge of the stunts and action.

Mind you, what action it is. Here's the trailer.
