Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps International trailer
I love this trailer for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, not just because the musical choice is so good over the top, but there's so much manliness, testosterone, masked feeling and intention, and Gordon Gekko, aka Michael Douglas, looks like he knows something that the other characters don't in just about every scene. In fact I'd say he not only looks mischievous, but dangerous.
Some are suggesting there's a little too much shown in this new trailer, but I contend that, I think there's just enough to give you a taste of what's going to happen. Anything that you gleam from the reveals in the trailer I didn't find surprising at all and expected from knowing the film and the blurb already.
Have a look and see what you think, but I'm rather taken with the trailer and the mix. Shia LaBeouf playing the doe eyed wannabe and Josh Brolin the man who looks to be up against the dangerous business head of Gekko.
I think Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps looks great and Oliver Stone could hit it just right with the film. Except for one reservation. If the film follows the same arc as the last one then I'll feel a little disappointed. If we see Gekko building things up and doing great, reveals that he's doing some really bad things, then everything come crashing around him to end on a low point with nothing again, I'll find that a bit of a wasted opportunity, especially if LaBeouf is going to be playing the Charlie Sheen character once more.
