Repo Men Red Band trailer

RepoMen.jpgWhile a lot of people concentrate on the loose similarities between this story and Repo! The Genetic Opera, I like to watch the trailers and decide independently whether I want to watch this film or not, and judging by the first trailer and this new one, I'm definitely interested.

Although this is red band, personally I don't feel there's anything in here to harm a mouse, you see more upsetting things on the news these days.

The film, for those who haven't been following it, tells the story of a society where disposable has reached new heights, and replacement organs have become a huge business. However the cost of organ transplants is high and people often find they can't pay back the terms of the private companies who sell them the organs. That's where the repossession men come in.

They team up together and hunt down people who haven't paid back their organs, knocking them out and taking the organs back by force performing operations on the spot.

However something goes wrong during one of the repossessions by a member of the company's top team, and he needs a new heart. However he finds that he no longer can carry out his job as he now finds he identifies too closely with the victims. So he falls behind on his payments, but when the repossession men arrive, he fights back, and the only way he sees to survive is to take down his former partner and the company behind him.

Sounds cool, and even better considering the cast, Jude Law and Forest Whitaker are the lead repossession men.

Have a look at this new trailer for Repo Men to really get a sense of the film and see some more of the big names attached including Liev Schreiber, Alice Braga, and Carice van Houten.
