Full Piranha 3D trailer online

Piranha.jpgThe full trailer for Piranha 3D has arrived online and it's looking rather more exciting and thrilling than the first one. Mind you, to go with that there are some stunningly cheesy moments too. A real mixed bag, but after watching this I think the positives are outweighing the negatives.

There are plenty of positives, and but it's still a struggle to get past the idea that this is about a school of Piranha breaking out of a prehistoric cave and gaining freedom in...a lake. Mmmm.

As I said there are some cheesy moments. Look at Christopher Lloyd's character hamming it up more than I've ever seen him as they lay that fossil right in front of the big Piranha, just in case you didn't accept the scientist saying it was true, seeing the fish for yourself, and knowing it came out of a hole sealed up forever, they put the fossil right next to it and get the fish to swim by in the same pose.

Then there's the bit with the fish stopping right in front of the woman a la Alien: Resurrection.

Yes there are some cheesy moments, but then there are some really good moments too, there's some very Jaws-esque moments that manage to bring through a lot of power and scare factor through even the trailer.

Then there's the cast of Richard Dreyfuss, Elisabeth Shue, Christopher Lloyd, Eli Roth, Ving Rhames, Dina Meyer and Jerry O'Connell, and then the fact that Piranha 3D was directed by Alexandre Aja.

Have a look and see what you think, which way is it going to turn out?
