Men in Black 3 to feature time travelling story-line

MeninBlack.jpgThere was a story a little while ago about Josh Brolin possibly taking over from Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black 3, but then we heard that Will Smith was in and Tommy Lee Jones was in negotiations, and everyone kind of forgot all about Josh Brolin.

However in a story about Rian Johnson's Looper, it's been hinted at that Brolin will be in the film and playing the same character as Tommy Lee Jones. How come? Time travel.

I do have it in the back of my head that this plot line has been hinted at before, but it hasn't really clicked in until now, until seeing the confirmation that Josh Brolin will be playing the younger version of Tommy Lee Jones' character.

From Deadline Hollywood Dailys we hear the confirmation of the storyline, but that's all. It's a passing comment in another story so there's nothing else to go on.

We'll probably see Will Smith travelling back in time, perhaps with Tommy Lee Jones, to meet the younger agent. Perhaps we'll see the old type of time travel story where he has to fix time by ensuring that he becomes the agent that trains him, otherwise the future as we've seen it is destroyed.

Sounds like they are trying to deliver something different with the third instalment, and that's a good thing.
