Morning Glory trailer online

HarrisonFord.jpgThe trailer of Morning Glory has arrived, Rachel McAdams trying to get Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton to work together on the worst rated show of all time.

Yes, it looks formulaic, the trailer gives away too much including the turning point for the characters played by McAdams and Ford, and you can see what's going to happen a mile off, but you know there's something about it I'd like to see happen just the way I expect.

I can't describe it, okay I'll have a go. There's something comforting, the comedy looks pretty good, and the chemistry looks like it could work.

Plus there's the cast of Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton, Patrick Wilson and Jeff Goldblum. Come on, can you deny that Morning Glory doesn't at least have you half interested? It does me.

Sometimes this kind of film is fun, when it doesn't try and sell itself as something else or take itself too seriously.

Oh...and did I mention it also has 50 Cent in it?! Wow, he's branching out!

Here's the blurb:

When hard–working TV producer Becky Fuller (McAdams) is fired from a local news program, her career begins to look as bleak as her hapless love life. Stumbling into a job at "Daybreak" (the last–place national morning news show), Becky decides to revitalize the show by bringing on legendary TV anchor Mike Pomeroy (Ford). Unfortunately, Pomeroy refuses to cover morning show staples like celebrity gossip, weather, fashion and crafts – let alone work with his new co–host, Colleen Peck (Keaton), a former beauty queen and longtime morning show personality who is more than happy covering morning "news." As Mike and Colleen clash, first behind the scenes and then on the air, Becky's blossoming love affair with fellow producer, Adam Bennett (Wilson) begins to unravel – and soon Becky is struggling to save her relationship, her reputation, her job and ultimately, the show itself.
