New Iron Sky teaser arrives online

IronSky.jpgA new Iron Sky teaser is online and it has a lot more footage, a lot more styling, and surprisingly shows it all from the space Nazi point of view. I love it, until the final upbeat music kicks in which just takes it a little too far away from the opening feel.

Still, it's a cracking idea and a cracking teaser that has footage from the actual film, this isn't a teaser created out of thin air to sell the idea, this is actual film footage.

You can see the teaser trailer for Iron Sky below, and it looks great. Nazi's head off into space after World War II, hide out, build their forces, and when they're ready with an overpowering force, they return to Earth to try and take it over? I'm in.

Here's the blurb for Iron Sky:

Towards the end of World War II, in 1945, the SS officer Hans Kammler’s staff made a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity research. From a secret base built in the Antarctic, the first Nazi spaceships were launched in late ‘45, and they founded the military base Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) on the so-called dark side of the Moon. The purpose of this base was to build a powerful invasion fleet and return to take over the Earth once the time was right.

Now the teaser which comes through Opium and Quiet Earth, two excellent sites:

I think it's looking rather good, what do you think, and why are we so fascinated with the Nazi's as the eternal enemy?
